Spanish philosopher Xavier Zubiri (1898-1983) is one of the most profound thinkers of the 20^th century. Solidly grounded in the history of philosophy, theology, linguistics, modern science, and the foundations of mathematics, Zubiri speaks to the present but even more to the future. Working closely with the Fundación Xavier Zubiri in Madrid, the Foundation seeks to make his work more widely known in North America. The Foundation also works in cooperation with Zubiri scholars in other countries.

Volume 9 of The Xavier Zubiri Review is now available on the website for downloading. Printed copies will be available in April.

The Annual Metanexus Institute Conference on Religion and Science moves to Madrid this year. There will be papers and sessions on Zubiri, organized by the Fundación Xavier Zubiri.

The Instituto de Pensamiento Iberoamericana will host a symposium UN FILÓSOFO IBEROAMERICANO: ZUBIRI DESDE EL SIGLO XXI in Salamanca, 16-18 October.
